This year, the Fun Run Sachsen around the Adelsberg in Chemnitz is celebrating a very special premiere. The Fun Run Sachsen is being organised for the 45th time this season. As in previous years, the Adelsberg serves as the location for the cross-country run. This is located in the south-east of Chemnitz and offers the ideal conditions for a cross-country run.

There are a total of three running distances to choose from at the Fun Run Sachsen around the Adelsberg. You can take part in the 5 km, the 10 km or the 20 km run. This means that the Volkslauf Sachsen appeals to both recreational runners and experienced marathon runners who feel comfortable running cross-country. The running course leads directly through the beautiful countryside at the foot of the Ore Mountains and includes running sections that lead over asphalt as well as forest and field paths. In the main run, you even have to overcome an additional 150 metres in altitude. This makes the Volkslauf Sachsen a real cross-country run, which will especially delight the nature lovers among you.
