Description
The Tiroler Womens Run in Innsbruck has a long tradition, having been held since 2010. The motto of the Tiroler Frauenlauf is "Running Together," symbolizing an event where the focus is not on achieving the best times but on the shared experience with friends, sisters, or colleagues.
The race course is 5 km long and can easily be completed by beginners. You will run through Innsbruck and pass several landmarks of the Tyrolean capital, including the Triumphal Arch and the Annasäule. Since the Tiroler Womens Run is not about personal best times but rather about promoting physical activity in general, it is up to you whether you want to run with or without a time ranking. The absolute highlight, of course, is the breathtaking panoramic view you can enjoy along parts of the course.
