Description
The Stilfserjoch Stelvio Trail Run in Prad evolved from the original Stelvio Trail Run, which has been held since 2019. With its spectacular route, this event draws runners young and old, attracting participants of all ages and ability levels year after year—all eager to experience this truly unique mountain adventure.
The course winds through the high-alpine Stelvio National Park, one of the largest nature reserves in Europe, offering a trail run unlike any other. While the scenic beauty is breathtaking, runners shouldn't underestimate the challenge: the 21 km route features 2,100 meters of elevation gain and traverses rugged alpine terrain all the way to the finish above the Stelvio Pass. This is a demanding race that requires solid trail running experience and mountain fitness—but rewards with unforgettable views and a real sense of achievement.
