Description
The Red Bull Dolomitenmann in Lienz is an extreme team sports event where teams of four compete in different disciplines. Each team member must complete one of the four challenges: mountain running, paragliding, whitewater kayaking, and mountain biking. Take part, and maybe you’ll soon find yourself in the Hall of Fame of the Red Bull Dolomitenmann.
The Red Bull Dolomitenmann in Lienz is rich in tradition, unique, and incredibly demanding. It is an event known far beyond Austria’s borders and highly regarded among elite athletes. The Red Bull Dolomitenmann is considered one of the toughest mountain races in the world. The course features a variety of sections, some so steep that they can only be conquered on all fours, making the race a true test of both physical and mental endurance for any mountain runner. The race starts at an altitude of 674 meters above sea level and reaches its highest point at 2,441 meters in high alpine terrain. Participants must overcome a total ascent of approximately 2,000 vertical meters. Every discipline in the Dolomitenmann is extremely challenging, making this event suited for professionals in their respective sports.
