Muttenz Marathon

Description

The Muttenz Marathon is one of the most popular running events organised every year in the Basel region. This is mainly due to the impressive running course that the Muttenz Marathon has to offer. So it's no wonder that around 1,000 participants take part in the Muttenz Marathon every year to make sure they don't miss out on this running experience.

There are three running distances to choose from at the Muttenz Marathon. You can take part in the 10 km fun run, the half marathon or the main race, the marathon. As the Muttenz Marathon is organised in the middle of spring, you can look forward to a fantastic scenic run in a lively natural setting, where you can also ring in the start of the running season. The running course itself has numerous highlights to offer. Among other things, you will run alongside the Birs, take a detour into the Muttenz vineyards, pass the Birs waterfall and the Neue Welt small power station. You can expect a great scenic run that leads right through the nature and recreation area around Muttenz.
