This year, the Megamarsch in Weserbergland is returning to Rinteln for the fourth time. As usual, you can look forward to a very challenging hike at the Megamarsch in Rinteln, which will require you to be in very good physical condition and have plenty of stamina. The Megamarsch in Rinteln covers the full distance of 100 kilometres, which must be completed in 24 hours.

The mega march in the Weserbergland in Rinteln is one of the 10 mega marches that cover the full marching distance of 100 kilometres. As befits its status, you have 24 hours to cross the finish line at this event. The mega march in the Weserbergland starts and finishes in the small town of Rinteln. From here, you explore the beautiful nature of the Weserbergland in a clockwise direction and can enjoy a phenomenal route with varied views and lots of highlights. As the route is partly over hill and dale, you should be sure-footed and wear sturdy shoes. The starting signal is given at 4 pm. A total of four refreshment stations (every 20 km) are planned, where water, fruit, muesli bars, broth, coffee, salami, milk/chocolate rolls etc. are available. However, the selection may vary slightly from location to location. Only the 100 km finishers can look forward to a medal. Participants who have completed 40 km, 60 km or 80 km will receive a certificate.
