Megamarsch Bremen

Description

After four successful years, the Megamarsch is returning to Bremen again this year. And it's no wonder, as over 1,000 participants set off on the first Megamarsch in the Hanseatic city to complete the 50 km route in and around Bremen. This year, too, you only have to march half the distance of 50 kilometres in Bremen.

The Bremen mega march is one of five mega marches that cover half the marching distance (50 km). The other mega marches involve completing 100 km in 24 hours. In Bremen, you therefore only have 12 hours to reach the finish line for the 50 km. The start is, of course, in Bremen and leads partly along the legendary Way of St James until you reach the town of Wildeshausen as your destination. The Way of St James offers you a varied landscape that gives you a new perspective on Bremen and the surrounding area. The start is at 8 o'clock in the morning. There are a total of four refreshment stations in Bremen (every 10 km), where you can get water, fruit, muesli bars, bread rolls, snacks and lots more goodies to keep you going.
