Once Berlin, always Berlin - that could be the motto of the Megamarsch Berlin. After seven years, the Megamarsch has become a firmly established event in the capital, with over 1,000 participants. The reason for this is the special route, which shows you Berlin from a completely new perspective for a change. In Berlin, you have to march half the distance of the Megamarsch, which means that you have to cover 50 kilometres in 12 hours.
The Megamarsch Berlin starts from the Siemensstadt Sports Centre. From here, you will set off on foot on a journey that takes you through parks, urban spaces, forest areas, cultural landscapes and past lakes and rivers. The Megamarsch Berlin will present you with a truly unique picture of the capital. The start is at 6 pm, which means you will be walking towards the sunset and through the night. There are a total of four refreshment stations in Berlin (every 10 km), where you can get water, fruit, muesli bars, bread rolls, snacks and lots more goodies to keep you going. The finish is also the starting point.
