Description

After five years of the Mammutmarsch, this year marks the seventh time that the Mammutmarsch is coming to the Hanseatic city of Hamburg. The Mammutmarsch Hamburg has two events in store - the Little Mammutmarsch with a length of 42 km or 60 km. No matter which of the two hikes you choose, you will get to know Hamburg from a completely new perspective during the Mammoth March.

This year, the Mammutmarsch Hamburg is the first in the seven-part event series of hikes in Germany and Austria. Even the start of the Mammutmarsch in Hamburg is impressive. The start is on the Elbe island of Kaltehofe, from where you have a spectacular view of Hamburg's container harbour. On the following route, you will pass old manor houses, watermills, lighthouses, dunes and numerous industrial monuments. In contrast to other mammoth marches, the route in Hamburg is of course one thing - extremely flat.
