Description
After six successful years, a first-class trail run awaits you again this year at the KAT 100, where you can experience trail running in its perfection. The KAT 100 will be held in the Kitzbühel Alps in Austria, which are a true paradise for trail runners.
There are a total of three different running routes to choose from at the KAT100. You can take part in the 24 km, the 53 km or the 166 km trail run. However, each of the three events is only suitable for very experienced or professional trail runners, as even the shortest run has an elevation gain of 1,500 metres. The main run, on the other hand, has an incredible 9,600 metres of elevation gain, which quickly makes it clear that beginners have no place at the KAT100. So it's no wonder that the KAT 100 is nicknamed the ‘Next Step to Heaven’.
