Description
The EAM Kassel Marathon is North Hesse's most important running event, which is being organised for the 17th time this year. In addition to the marathon, the EAM Kassel Marathon also organises a half marathon and a relay marathon, which are attended by a total of around 10,000 runners and more than 50,000 spectators.
The EAM Kassel Marathon gets the whole of northern Hesse moving. In total, this huge running event is attended by around 60,000 people who take on the various running distances and cheer on the participants. The marathon course runs on a loop through the districts of Waldau, Forstfeld, Lohfelden, Bettenhausen, Untere Neustadt, Wesertor, Wolfsanger, Fasanenhof, Nord (Holland), Philippinenhof-Warteberg, Rothenditmold, Kirchditmold, Vorderer Westen, Mitte, Wehrheimen and Süd. As the EAM Kassel Marathon is not a circular course, the participants are offered all kinds of variety.
