The Jungfrau Marathon in Interlaken is a real gem among trail run marathons. You will experience a unique natural adventure in the heart of Switzerland. The running course leads through very challenging alpine terrain, with some extreme inclines. This makes the Jungfrau Marathon a mega running event for all top athletes among you. A total of around 4,000 participants take part in the Jungfrau Marathon in Interlaken every year.
The Jungfrau Marathon can look back on a very long tradition. The Jungfrau Marathon has been organised annually since 1993. Over the years, this trail run has therefore developed into a meeting place for all trail run experts, where every participant can test their performance limits. In total, you have to overcome 1,829 metres in altitude during this mountain marathon. The running route itself has many highlights and surprises in store that are guaranteed to make this trail run unforgettable.
