Conquer the Piesberg - at the Osnabrücker Gipfelsturm! Take on the challenge of a unique 10 km charity run that takes you from the heart of Osnabrück to the summit of the Piesberg.
Your run begins against the impressive backdrop of St Mary's Church with a view of the historic town hall. From there, the route takes you through the picturesque old town, past the Heger Tor and up to the Westerberg. You pass the idyllic Rubbenbruchsee lake, cross the River Hase and the Stichkanal before facing the ultimate challenge: the climb up the 188-metre-high Piesberg.
The infamous 269 steps of the Piesberg Südstieg await you shortly before you reach your destination. But with every step, you get closer to the summit, where a unique finish and the feeling of having truly surpassed yourself await you.
The Osnabrücker Gipfelsturm is more than just a run - it is an experience that combines city running, country running and trail running in one challenging route. You are not only running for yourself, but also for a good cause: the proceeds support Café Oase, an organisation run by the Diakonie Osnabrück charity that supports people in difficult life situations.
