After six successful years, the Frauen Berg Gaudi trail run is returning to Gargellen (Austria) this year. As in previous years, you can look forward to a trail run at the Frauen Berg Gaudi that will challenge you but also reward you with fantastic mountain panoramas. The Frauen Berg Gaudi is a trail run in which only women are allowed to start.
The running route of the Frauen Berg Gaudi runs directly along the smugglers' trail in Montafon, which lies between Austria and Switzerland. The route itself is beautiful, idyllic and varied at the same time and takes you past the beautiful Gafiersee lake, among other things. Over the 8.5 km, you have to overcome a whopping 600 metres in altitude and numerous steep climbs. The lowest point is at an altitude of 2,126 metres, while the highest point is at an altitude of 2,478 metres. So you should definitely be athletic, confident at altitude and sure-footed to take part in the Women's Mountain Fun.
