Description
Take up the challenge and conquer the Etzel! The Etzel Challenge in Freienbach takes you on a demanding route from Pfäffikon up to the summit at 1,098 metres above sea level.
The 8 km run with over 800 metres of altitude difference will test your stamina and willpower. The route begins on flat sections, but soon takes you up steep trails, narrow forest paths and challenging climbs. Technical passages alternate with gentler sections before you reach the finale at the summit.
There you will be rewarded with a breathtaking panorama over Lake Zurich, the Linth region and the majestic Alps. Whether you're chasing the best times or simply looking for an experience - the Etzel Challenge is a mountain run that combines strength, endurance and passion. Are you ready?
