Description
The Erzberg Run is a unique mountain run that takes place as part of the Erzberg Adventure Days (Austria). The venue for the Erzberg Run is the Styrian Pyramid, which is a real landmark in Styria. This means that participants in the Erzberg Run are offered the ultimate running event, which is not only beautiful but also extremely strenuous. The Erzberg Run has been organised for 19 years now and inspires around 1,500 participants every year.
In recent years, the Erzberg Run has become one of the most popular and largest mountain running events in Austria. No wonder, because this mountain run offers participants a fantastic running route that makes the heart of every mountain runner beat faster. The finish line is the summit of the Styrian Erzberg, which has been shaped by man over decades of ore mining. Once you reach the summit, you will have covered an altitude difference of approx. 788 metres over a distance of approx. 13 km.
