Ebbs Koasamarsch

Description

The Ebbs Koasamarsch can look back on decades of tradition and is one of the absolute trail running highlights of the international trail running scene every year. The Ebbs Koasamarsch is held in Ebbs, which is located in Kufstein in Tyrol (Austria). Due to its special specifications, the Koasamarsch is only for advanced and absolute professional trail runners. Every year, around 1,250 participants follow this call to compete with the best at the Ebbs Koasamarsch.

Three trail run competitions await you at the Ebbs Koasamarsch, each of which is a real challenge in its own right. The running routes are all located in the beautiful Kaiser Mountains, which were even voted the most beautiful place in Austria in 2016.

For advanced runners, the KOASA half marathon is offered as an introductory run at the Koasamarsch, which has a direct elevation gain of 1,000 metres. There is also the KOASA Classic Run with over 1,700 metres of altitude difference and the KOASA Marathon, which has a whopping 2,100 metres of altitude difference to conquer. The latter two trail run competitions take you directly through alpine terrain, which is why you need to be absolutely sure-footed.

Overall, the Ebbs Koasamarsch is very demanding in terms of running and requires a lot of preparation in order to be successful.
