It is therefore all the more astonishing that around 6,000 participants, provided by hundreds of participating companies, take part in the e-business marathon in Premstätten every year.

The speciality of the e-business marathon lies in the event structure. It is a classic marathon that runs over a 5.275 km circuit but must be completed in a team. A team must consist of two, four or eight runners, who have to complete the circuit four times or once, depending on the size of the team.
