Description
Every year at the Dortmund New Year's Run, 1,500 participants welcome in the new running year and set off to run round the Phoenix Lake lap after lap. The Dortmund New Year's Run is extremely popular thanks to its cool location and great format. So it's no wonder that the New Year's Run is usually fully booked several weeks in advance.
The running course is a 3.25 km circuit that runs directly around the man-made Phoenix Lake. You decide how many laps you want to run during the run. You can run as many laps as you like within a given time frame of 90 minutes. This means you are free to start the new year in a relaxed manner at the Dortmund New Year's Run or to realise your full potential at the beginning of the year.
