The White Ring - The Trailchallenge is still a young trail run that is only being organised for the fifth time this year and aims to set new standards in trail running in the long term. The White Ring - The Trailchallenge takes place in Lech (Austria), which is one of the most popular ski resorts in Europe in winter thanks to its fantastic ski slopes. In summer, you run up these very same slopes, making the Trailchallenge an extremely challenging trail run.
A spectacular trail running premiere awaits you at the White Ring - The Trailchallenge, which experienced trail runners should definitely not miss out on. You will run either 11.1 km or 28.9 km up steep and very challenging ski slopes that will demand everything from you. In the main race, you will have to overcome over 2,300 metres in altitude. The running course itself is also very challenging as it leads directly over the bare pistes. You should therefore definitely be experienced in trail running and sure-footed in order to successfully master the trail challenge.

Zuerst einmal ein großes Dankeschön an alle, die hier mitgeholfen haben: Bergrettung, Rotes Kreuz, Streckenposten und noch viele mehr, welche so ein Event überhaupt erst über die Bühne bringen. Dann noch das Wetterglück, besser gehts einfach nicht. Mit meiner heurigen Leistung darf ich mehr als zufrieden sein, habe meine Vorjahrszeit pulverisiert und bin über eine stunde schneller gelaufen, super trainiert, aber irgendeinen Preis hätten sich die Altersklassen in der kleinen Heldenwertung schon verdient. Ich auf alle Fälle werde, wenns der Herrgott will, wieder starten das nächste Mal, heuer im 81sten Lebensjahr noch 1.51 Stund, diese Strecke zu bewälten war gar nicht so schlecht und zum Schluß noch ein großes Lob an euren Reporter, einen besseren gibt es nicht!
