The City Run Greifswald is an absolute institution among the running events that are organised in Greifswald every year. The City Run has been held in Greifswald for 18 years, which is why it is no wonder that the City Run has been able to attract a large number of fans over this time, making the City Run in Greifswald the largest running event in and around Greifswald today. In total, more than 1,000 participants take part in the City Run every year.
The running course is 10 kilometres long and runs right through Greifswald as well as along the Eldena lido and the neighbouring forest. The Citylauf Greifswald therefore offers a great, varied running route that is particularly suitable for nature lovers. The running course itself is very flat, making it ideal for setting a new best time over the 10 km distance.
