The Bautzen New Year's Eve Run can look back on a very long history, as it has been held in Bautzen for over 50 years. The many hundreds of participants at the Bautzen New Year's Eve run are particularly enthusiastic about the course through the beautiful Humboldthain, a popular local recreation area in Bautzen.
There are three running distances to choose from at the New Year's Eve run in Bautzen. The 2.5 km course awaits the absolute beginners among you, the 5.3 km course awaits amateur runners and the 10.6 km course awaits the experienced runners among you. The two main runs are mostly a circular route through the Humboldthain and the Spreetal, while the introductory run runs exclusively through the Spreetal. This means that if you take part in the Bautzen New Year's Eve run, you can look forward to a beautiful scenic run where you can take a deep breath at the end of the year.
