Over the past 10 years, the Auffahrtslauf in St. Gallen (Switzerland) has become a must-attend event in the Swiss running scene. Every year, almost 8,000 participants make a note of the date for the St. Gallen Ascension Run in their diaries to make sure they don't miss this running event.

There are three running distances to choose from at the Ascension Run in St. Gallen. You can take part in the 6 km run, the 10 km fun run or the highlight, the half marathon. Runners of all abilities will get their money's worth at the St. Gallen Ascension Run. The varied running route has a lot to offer and is mainly on tarmac. You can enjoy a great landscape with a detour to Lake Gübsensee as well as explore St. Gallen on a running trip to the city centre. You will be cheered on by around 20,000 spectators who will stand at the edge of the running route and cheer you on. The start and finish area is located in the St. Gallen stadium, one of the largest football stadiums in Switzerland.
