The Amtsberg Panorama Run is a young cross-country race organised at the foot of the Ore Mountains in the municipality of Amtsberg. The highlight of the Amtsberg Panorama Run is the ascent to the Dittersdorfer Höhe, which is 553 metres above sea level. From here, you can enjoy a heavenly panoramic view of the Ore Mountains. This makes the Amtsberg Panorama Run perfect for all those of you who love nature and are fascinated by unique panoramic views.
However, the panoramic run in Amtsberg is also a great sporting event. There are two running distances to choose from. You can take part in the 5 km or the 10 km cross-country race. You will have to overcome an altitude difference of around 200 metres. Once you reach the highest point, you can enjoy stunning views of the Fichtelberg, the Keilberg or the Bärenstein. The running route itself is mainly along forest and paved hiking trails. You don't have to be a professional cross-country runner to take part in the Amtsberger Panoramalauf, but you should still be in good shape.
