Description
The Barmer Alsterlauf in Hamburg has been organised for over 30 years. Over the years, the Alsterlauf has developed into a real institution among running events in Hamburg. Almost 6,000 participants take to the starting line every year to conquer the city centre of Hamburg and run around the Alster.
The Barmer Alsterlauf combines many event formats in one race. It is a fun run, city run and company run in one event. The running course is a 10 km circuit that leads both through Hamburg city centre and around the Alster. You will pass some of Hamburg's sights, but you can also enjoy pure nature on the run around the Alster. The starting shot is fired on Mönckebergstraße, which is a real highlight in itself with its unique starting atmosphere. Would you prefer to start with your whole company? No problem, companies can take part in the Barmer Alsterlauf as part of the company cup.
