Description
If you are looking for a special running challenge that focuses on endurance, community and experiencing nature, then the Klosterparklauf in Harsefeld is just the thing for you.
You will run for six hours through the picturesque monastery park on a 1.461 km route, which is mainly on paved sandy paths and includes two bridges and around 100 metres along Herrenstraße. You decide how many laps you want to complete - whether you want to aim for the marathon mark, reach 50 km or simply celebrate your personal best.
Each lap takes you past the well-equipped refreshment stand in the start area, which provides you with drinks such as cola, water, apple spritzer, tea and snacks such as bananas and cake. Laps are counted using a free loaner chip from RaceResult so that you can concentrate fully on your run.
The Klosterparklauf is part of the 6-hour North Cup, which determines the best six-hour runners in north-west Germany. The award ceremony is held separately for women and men, and in the event of a tie, the time of the last full lap is decisive.
Whether you are an experienced ultra runner or simply looking for a new challenge - the Klosterparklauf offers you the perfect opportunity to test your limits while enjoying the special atmosphere of the Klosterpark.
